New Rochelle offers accommodations at two downtown hotels:  The Radisson and The Marriott Residence Inn.  The
two hotels are within a 5-minute walk from each other.  The Radisson is on Huguenot Street and the Marriott
Residence Inn is in the New Roc City complex.

The reunion committee has checked out the rooms at both hotels and we are happy to say that both are
comfortable and very nicely furnished.  Each hotel has an outdoor swimming pool.  The Radisson has an in-hotel
restaurant, and does not include a free breakfast with the room bookings.  The Marriott has no in-hotel restaurant
(there are 4+ restaurants within a 1 block radius), but does provide a free breakfast buffet for their guests.

The Radisson has agreed to hold a block of 10 rooms for reunion attendees until May 30, 2012 at a special rate of
$149/night.  Marriott rates are higher, but those who have the Marriott Rewards program might be able to get a
better deal.

Both hotels have informed us that since the reunion is in June, they expect to be sold out well in advance due to
June wedding season and urge interested reunion goers to book as soon as possible (a booking can always be
cancelled later without penalty).

If booking at the Radisson, please refer to the Mayflower Reunion block of rooms.  Also, we have requested rooms
on the higher floors (4 and above) to avoid any possible noise disturbance from their Friday night disco.  It would
be a good idea to reiterate this location preference when booking.

If anyone books a room at the Marriott Residence Inn, please let the reunion committee c/o Nancy Nelson
(nancynelson35@msn.com) know.  With just one booked room, our group will have access to their 10th Floor
lounge with a view of New Rochelle which we would be interested in using for an informal dinner on Friday 6/29.

Please feel free to also email Nancy Nelson with any questions on New Rochelle accommodations.
